(BEDFORD) - Times Mail Reporter Bob Bridge and Penny May, director of the spring production of the “Wizard of Oz,” are casting for the role of Toto.
Auditions will be held Jan. 30th at the Little Theatre of Bedford on Brian Lane Way.
Auditions begin at 6 p.m.
The only requirements are the dog needs to be healthy, have personality and courage. They are looking for a dog who won't be easily frightened by groups of people or noise.
This is not a beauty contest. Penny said she has no particular size in mind, and breed, color and gender are not key factors.
Dogs that know how to fetch, roll over, or sit, will probably get a call back.
The play is set May, and rehearsals begin in March. The cast will be announced by Feb. 10th. For more detailed information, contact Penny at 279-6171.
