(CLINTON) - A Clinton man is in jail after police say he admitted to breaking his son’s leg.
Robert Clem, 32, was arrested Thursday night.
Police say he took his 3-year-old son to Riley Hospital on Tuesday for a broken leg.
Police say Clem initially denied any wrongdoing in connection to his son's broken leg, but after an interview with police Thursday, he admitted he caused the injury.
He told police that after his son fell while running through their home, he picked him up and put him onto his feet angrily in a hard manner.
Clem is held in the Vermillion County Jail without bond.
