(MEDORA) - Medora students and staff of the community schools have planned a treat for local senior citizens on Valentine’s Day.
It's a thank you to everyone who has supported the school over the years, according to school superintendent Tom Judd.
He said many do not have students in the school, but have continued to support them by paying property taxes and in other ways like supporting school athletics.
The event, called "To Medora With Love", is to show the senior citizens that they are appreciated. The event will be Feb. 14th from 4 p.m.to 6 p.m. It will include a free dinner, door prizes and entertainment provided by the staff and students. Eighth graders will be serving the meal.
