(BEDFORD) - A 14-year-old autistic boy was found safe after he wondered from his yard, Wednesday night.
Elena Hartzell called 911 at 5:58 p.m. reporting the boy missing.
The boy who lives on Rariden Hill, was in his back yard when he disappeared into the woods.
Lawrence County Police, their police dogs and Shawswick and Marion Volunteer Firefighters searched the area for the boy.
Family members told police the boy loved motocross and the flashing lights of emergency vehicles. That is when searchers turned on their emergency lights and headed toward the motocross. There, they found the boy at 8 p.m., safe and sound.
