(BLOOMINGTON) - Tuesday was a solemn day for family and friends of Lauren Spierer. The Indiana University student has been missing since June.
Tuesday marked her 21st birthday. Those supporting efforts to find Spierer sent messages about her on Twitter, urging anyone with information to step forward. They also expressed regrets that she could not share her birthday with family and friends.
Spierer disappeared in the early morning hours of June 3rd, after a night of drinking with friends.
