(MITCHEL) - 44-year-old John Cleek, of Mitchell, was arrested on a warrant for attempted meth dealing by Indiana State Police troopers.
Cleek was treated for burns to his arms, face, chest and legs in October at IU Health Bedford Hospital. Cleek told police he was injured while burning leaves.
However Lawrence County Police didn't believe his story and said Cleek reeked of ether.
Police then obtained a search warrant and went to Cleek's home and found evidence of a meth lab.
Cleek's wife Jacquelyn was also arrested on a warrant charging her with maintaining a common nuisance.
