Springville Men Arrested After Police Find Meth Lab

(SPRINGVILLE) - Indiana State Police Meth Task Force arrested two Springville men after finding a meth lab at a home in Springville.

According to Trooper Joshua Allen, troopers went to the home armed with a search warrant Thursday night after receiving information about a possible active meth lab.

Troopers found chemicals and items used to make meth. They also found an active meth lab, marijuana and items used to ingest the drugs.

Arrested were 48-year-old Bruce Phillips and 23-year-old Eric Phillips.

Bruce Phillips was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine over 3 grams, possession of precursors with the intent to manufacture, possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance, purchase of precursors, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana.

Eric Phillips was charged with manufacturing meth over 3 grams, possession of precursors with the intent to manufacture and visiting a common nuisance.

Oolitic K-9 Officer Bill Allen and his dog Shani were called to assist with the search.
