(BLOOMFIELD) - Bloomfield Farmer’s Market Committee Leader Vickie Hatfield will be meeting with town officials Tuesday at 6 p.m. regarding setting a location for the market.
The meeting will be held at the Fire Station on Mill Street.
The projected open date for the farmer's market will be Saturday, May 5th and will run to September 29th.
The committee has discussed opening the market at 7 a.m. but Hatfield says she might need to look further into the time.
There will be a yearly vendor fee of $50 and $40 for early registration. A one-time fee may be implemented for vendors that would just like to try out the market. They are also discussing setting a junior's fee and senior's fee.
They are also considering having a Jammer's Tent, so entertainment can be provided.
The committee is still working on a vendor handbook and registration forms, as well as promotion ideas.
The group is also looking for sponsors, and Hatfield says she hopes to have a way to display the names of sponsors at the market.
If anyone is interested in being a sponsor they can contact the committee at bloomfieldfamersmarket@gmail.com.
