(BLOOMFIELD) - A warrant has been issued for William Trey Lloyd of Bloomfield after he allegedly threatened to burn his ex-girlfriend’s house and car.
He is facing charges of intimidation and criminal mischief.
According to police, the ex-girlfriend was giving Lloyd a ride home on Jan. 29 to his home on Colds Springs Road near Bloomfield when the two began arguing when he asked her if she was dating someone else.
Lloyd became agitated and started punching the dash of the car and the rearview mirror.
When they arrived at Lloyd's home he threatened to burn her home and the car. While the woman remained in the car, Lloyd ran to the garage, where he told her he had gas and was going to burn up her car. That is when the woman drove away.
The woman told police this is not the first time he has made threats and she is afraid he will carry them out one day.
