(BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY) - The Bartholomew County fire inspector was arrested Thursday for using German Township Volunteer Fire Departments credit card for personal use.
Major Todd Nobittt of the Bartholomew County Sheriff's Department says the fire department contacted police when they grew suspicious of 51-year-old Kevin Tibbs, of Hope.
Noblitt says Tibbs purchased fuel for his personal vehicle and that information from the investigation was passed on to the prosecutor's office.
Tibb is accused of two counts of fraud and was released on a $15,000 bond Friday.
