(UNDATED) - The field of candidates for Indiana’s 9th District Democratic primary grew by two in the last days of the filing period, which ended Friday.
The newest candidates to join the field of five looking to take the seat from incumbent Republican Todd Young of Bloomington are 55-year-old John Griffin Miller of Corydon and 43-year-old Shelli Yoder of Bloomington.
The other Democratic candidates vying for Young's position in the May 8 primary are Jonathon George of Heltonville, John W. Tilford of Bloomington and Robert Winningham of Charlestown.
