(BLOOMFIELD)- Greene County could possibly have a free county website soon. The commissioners heard a presentation this week from EGOV Strategies who want to develop the website. (GC DAILY WORLD)
The proposed website would be user-friendly and easy to navigate and maintain on the administrator's side.
Among services offered online are credit card payments for tax bills, citizen feedback and issue resolutions; information about road and bridge closings, a calendar of events, agendas and minutes from government meetings.
Each individual department could have a link on the site. The estimated cost of the system would be about $3,100 a year. Commissioners will meet again with EGOV and department head before making a decision.
