(BLOOMINGTON) - The Indiana University Board of Trustees approved an increase for on-campus housing cost for the 2012-2013 school year.
The increase will affect housing costs on a sliding scale, according to Mark Land, Associate Vice President of University Communications.
At the high end, an 8 percent increase will happen for the cost of housing in select on-campus residence halls, like Collins Living Learning Center.
Some facilities will not see increases. The increases come in response to recent additions to the I.U. campus, like apartment-style housing at Union Street Center and renovations to Briscoe Quad.
