(LINTON) - 36-year-old Jonathan Resler, of Linton, is accused of taking several items of jewelry and then selling them at a Terre Haute jewelry store on three different occasions in November.
Resler is being charged with three counts of theft. He is accused of taking a white gold tennis bracelet with diamonds, a gold tennis bracelet with diamonds, two gold necklaces and a pair of gold cuff links.
The items belong to Kay Sullivan, of Linton. The thefts occurred during the month of November, when Resler was hired by Sullivan to do work at her home.
Police were able to determine through the jewelry store records that they purchased items from Resler on Nov. 3, Nov. 23 and Nov. 28. Police were able to recover two of the bracelets, but the rest of the items had been sold.
