(ORLEANS) - Orleans residents are being reminded that the town crew picks up large items of discard such as old furniture etc twice a year just prior to Dogwood Festival time and Fall Clean Up.
These are the only two times such items should be placed at curbside.
Residents having junk type items at other times of the year are responsible for their removal.
For more information on town clean up efforts contact the Orleans Town Offices Monday through Friday during regular office hours at 865-9930 or on-line at www.town.orleans.in.us.
Town crews do regularly pick up small limbs, brush as time permits throughout the year. These items should be kept separate from regular trash and placed at curbside or next to the street for easy pick up.
