(BEDFORD) - Penny May, director of the Little Theatre of Bedford’s upcoming production of “Wizard of Oz,” has announced Raven and Taz, a pair of ebony affenpinschers, will share the role of Dorothy’s darling dog, Toto.
Raven, owned by Brontee Anderson, posed like a prim and proper lady during her audition last week. Taz, belonging to Cheri Barnes, was rescued from the local shelter and spends her days keeping Barnes company at West End Flower Shop.
May said she also plans to utilize Cissi, a buff-colored pug mix escorted by Robert Arthur, in the cast.
