(LINTON)(GC DAILY WORLD) - The Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a garage in Linton early Sunday morning.
The garage is located on County Roads 40 North and 1330 West.
Linton Fire Chief Brad Sparks was back on the scene Monday with Fire Marshal Investigator Fred Daffer to try and determine what started the blaze.
Sparks says the building had no electricity and there was no other fire source nearby that could have started the fire.
The building was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived at 1:20 a.m. Sunday. Firefighters were on the scene for two hours extinguishing the blaze and then returned twice when the fire rekindled.
