(BEDFORD) - Two people were injured in a three-car, chain-reaction collision on the east side of Bedford Tuesday.
According to Bedford Police, the wreck happened at 3:16 p.m. on 16th Street near E Street.
18-year-old Aaron J. Chastain was driving a 1998 Jeep Laredo west on 16th Street but was stopped for a school bus, police said. 17-year-old Molly J. Chastain was following in a 2003 Ford Escape and stopping for the bus. A third vehicle, a 1996 Buick driven by 60-year-old Victoria L. Myers was following the Ford.
According to the report, Myers did not see the Ford in time to stop, and the Buick struck the rear of the Ford. The impact pushed the Ford into the back of the Jeep.
Myers complained of chest pain after the wreck. Molly Chastain reported neck pain.
An Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital ambulance was sent to the scene.
