(SOLSBERRY) - A 27-year-old Bloomington man is behind bars after he was arrested Wednesday night by the Indiana State Police Meth Task Force manufacturing methamphetamine in a wooded area near Solsberry. (GC Daily World)
27-year-old Dustin J. Hall of Bloomington was arrested on preliminary charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, dealing methamphetamine over 30 grams, and possession of methamphetamine - all felony charges.
No bond was set pending an initial court appearance.
At about 9 p.m. on Wednesday, the ISP Meth Task Force located a clandestine methamphetamine lab in a wooded area on Macville Road.
"Hall was actively manufacturing methamphetamine when the troopers located him and the lab," according to Trooper Josh Allen, a member of the ISP Task Force.
Among the items confiscated at the site were materials that are commonly used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. The Bloomington City Police assisted in the case.
Trooper Allen advised that anyone with knowledge about the illegal manufacturing of methamphetamine is encouraged to call the ISP Meth Task Force at the Bloomington post at (812) 332-4411.
