(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police are looking for a man who they believe pointed a pistol at another driver when she yelled that his brake lights were out.
A woman reported she was driving down Ind. 37 around 5:30 p.m. Saturday when she noticed a truck with its brake lights out. When she yelled out the window to get the driver's attention, she said, he pointed a black semiautomatic handgun at her, "kind of laughed," and drove away.
Lt. Faron Lake said the truck, a brown or gray GMC Sierra pickup, was last seen going north on Ind. 37 from Vernal Pike. The driver is described as a white man in his early 30s with short dark hair and a stocky build.
Officers ran the man's license plate number and found the owner of the truck lives in Greene County, Lake said. Detectives are investigating whether the truck owner was the same man driving the truck that day.
