(ORLEANS) - Drew Lambert of Lambert Consulting in Bloomington shared the results of the recent Orleans Chamber Membership Survey during the Chamber’s regular monthly “Breakfast Chat” held on March 8 at Maple Street.
Lambert's group is presently working with the Chamber board on a number of membership and small business marketing type incentives.
Lambert reported the survey had found that 37% of all members are extremely satisfied with the job The Orleans Chamber of Commerce has done.
Nearly 82% of respondents were looking to hear presentations from professionals who could possibly help drive more tourism opportunities to the Orleans area.
This was followed by 72% asking for more opportunities to network within the community. The survey also found that many members participated in annual special events, but by far
The Dogwood Festival took home the majority of attendance, ringing in nearly 88% of survey takers. Lambert said that nearly 50% of those submitting responses have been with the local Chamber 10 years or longer.
One other notable mention is that 85% of the respondents were likely to attend a future Chamber event and/or activity."
