(COLUMBUS) - Police say a “substantial amount” of jewelry was stolen in two daytime burglaries within the past month.
The burglaries occurred at residences on North Washington Street and at Tipton Lakes.
The burglars forced their way into the residences and took jewelry valued in the thousands of dollars, said Lt. Matt Myers, spokesman for Columbus Police Department.
