(SHOALS) - The Indiana Department of Transportation announced that Ind. 450 will be closing for repairs from U.S. 50 to Ind. 37.
Crews will be replace a three-sided drainage structure under the roadway 2.10 miles north of U.S. 50. The contract, for $527,168, was awarded to Milestone Contractors of Indianapolis.
Crews have been prepping the area for the structure work. The closure will begin at approximately 8 a.m. April 4. It is anticipated the roadway will re-open to traffic on June 2.
No through vehicle traffic will be allowed, however local residents will have access to the point of closure.
All lanes of traffic will be closed. The official detour will follow U.S. 50 and Ind. 37.
The overall project completion date is July 31.
