(SEYMOUR) - Job seekers are invited to attend a job fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Seymour High School.
WorkOne Southeast, the city of Seymour and Indiana 9th District Rep. Todd Young are sponsoring the job fair, where area job-seekers will have the opportunity to connect with employers offering more than 150 job openings, Young's office said. "We want to help link those folks up with local employers, and this jobs fair is a great way to do so," Young said. "I encourage area job seekers and local employers to take advantage of this event and help us get Hoosiers back to work."
The job fair is open to the public and will take place in the Seymour High School auxiliary gymnasium at 1350 W. Second St.
There is no cost to participate, and no registration or appointment is necessary for potential employees.
Employers may register through the 9th District Congressional office in Jeffersonville, or online at https://toddyoungforms.house.gov/index.cfm?sectionid158.
Area job seekers are advised to come ready to interview for potential jobs and should
bring multiple copies of their resumes. Career information, training providers and a job search skills workshop will also be available, as well as admissions counselors from local colleges.
