(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Annual Extension Board Meeting will be on Monday, March 19th at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds.
A buffet meal will be served at 6:30 p.m.
Feature speaker, Dr. Larry DeBoer from Purdue University Agriculture Economics Department studies state and local government public policy, including such topics as budget and taxing options. He assists the state legislature by maintaining a model of the property tax structure used by them to analyze impacts of assessments and tax policy changes.
Four members will be elected to serve on the Lawrence County Extension Board. Each member will serve for a three year term. If you are interested in serving on the board contact the Lawrence County Extension Service Office at 275-4623 before March 19th to have your name put on the ballot.
The cost of the meal is $7 per person and advanced reservations are required by March 14th. To make a reservation, call the Extension Office. Payment can be made the night of the program or in advance.
