(UNDATED) - Marshal and Perry Volunteer Firefighters were called to a porch fire early this morning.
Dillion Bridwell saw the fire and called 911 call at 12:44 a.m. today. After making the 911 call Bridwell then started knocking on the doors to try and wake the residents.
Cathy Korcia was house sitting at the home of Myra and Dave Filhard, at 572 North Helton Road.
After getting Korcia out of the house Bridwell then attempted to put the fire out.
Firefighters say the fire was contained to the porch.
Pleasant Run firefighters battled a field fire Wednesday afternoon. The fire was on Bartlettsville road and burned about a half an acre.
