(LOOGOOTEE) - Decades of history for Loogootee boys basketball line the walls of Jack Butcher Arena and there is one name that keeps popping up.
Lions head man Mike Wagoner has been apart of the schools last three trips to the state finals. As player for legendary Jack Butcher in 1975, then as assistant for Steve Brett in 2005 and now the Loogootee native makes his mark as the head coach this season.
Wagoner's Lions face Rockville Saturday in the Class A state championship game.
