(BLOOMFIELD)(GC Daily World) - 45-year-old Allen J. Kirkley of Lyons is facing new charges of child molestation.
Kirkley is currently out on bond on an unrelated child molesting case.
Kirkley was arrested Friday by Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy James O'Malley on a Greene Circuit Court warrant charging him with two counts of child molesting, class C felonies.
The new charges were filed after an investigation by the Child Protection Services (CPS) and the Greene County Sheriff's Department, it is alleged that Kirkley inappropriately touched a 10-year-old female and touched and showered with 10-year-old male in 2008.
The incidents are alleged to have occurred at Kirkley's former residence on East Big Bear Ridge Lane residence near Scotland.
Kirkley, who was out of jail at the time of his arrest on $4,000 cash bond in an unrelated case, is awaiting trial on a single count of child molesting, a class A felony.
Kirkley was charged in that case on Oct. 24, 2011. It was originally set to go to a jury trial today, but a motion for a continuance was filed Feb. 22. The court has not acted on that request, but did vacate the scheduled jury trial date.
In that case, Kirkley is alleged to have taken a young boy on a four-wheeler ride and molested him on June 17, 2011 in a field near the White River, according to a probable cause affidavit filed by GCSD Deputy O'Malley.
