(UNDATED) - Some Indiana counties are taking drastic steps to deal with budget woes.
Owen and Brown counties are among those replacing paved roads with gravel.
Brown County crews started the work on rural roads last week.
While many drivers aren't happy about the idea, county workers argue drivers will be a lot happier not having to dodge potholes.
