(BEDFORD) - Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley says officers are looking for a man who possibly was trying to abduct a 3-year-old Sunday afternoon at the JayC Plus on 16th Street.
Parsley says detectives are reviewing the store's video to see exactly what happened.
No other reports of possible abductions have been reported, he says, and he believes this is an isolated incident.
Bloomington and Fisher Police Departments have reported similar incidents, but there is no indication that the case are related, Parsley says.
The man is described as tall and thin, with gray hair that was pulled back into a ponytail. The man was driving an older white, four-door Buick.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Bedford Police Department at 275-3311.
