(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner on May 3rd, at the Lawrence County fairgrounds will feature remarks from two dynamic gentlemen from the region.
The keynote speaker for the event will be Don Fischer, the legendary voice of the
Indiana Hoosiers. He was recently awarded the Indiana Sportscaster of the Year for the
26th time in his 39 year career.
An update on NSWC Crane, specifically the economic impact and business opportunities
in relation to Lawrence County will be given by Duane Embree. Duane is a Lawrence
County native. He has served as the Technical Director of the Naval Surface Warfare
Center since May 2007. He is responsible for a workforce of 3000 scientists and
engineers and oversees approximately $2 Billion in total execution.
Social hour starts at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Tickets are $30 for members
