(UNDATED) - If you live in Washington County and suffered damage from the severe storms and tornadoes that hit these areas Feb. 29 through March 3 of this year, the deadline for registering for federal disaster assistance is May 8.
Registration for federal disaster assistance may be accomplished in several ways, including online at http://www.DisasterAssistance.gov or by phone: toll-free (800) 621-3362 or TTY (800) 462-7585 for speech- or hearing-impaired applicants only. Lines are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
