(ORLEANS) - Entries are now being accepted for the upcoming 2012 Orleans Dogwood Parade set for Saturday, May 5, 2 p.m. in downtown Orleans.
This year's parade theme is "My Hometown is..." Entry forms are available on-line on the Dogwood Festival webpage www.orleansdogwoodfestival.com or picked up from the Orleans Town Offices and Orleans Public Library.
The parade will begin from Orleans High School on the north edge of town and make its way down historic Maple Street (S.R. 37).
Parade Chairman Randy Clark says all type of entries are welcome including floats, walking, Equestrian, vehicles, political, bands and others. For more event information contact Clark at (812) 865-0340.
