(BLOOMINGTON) - A pedestrian, 21, walking at 2:45 a.m. Thursday was struck by a white
Hyundai near the State Road 46 bypass.
Bloomington Police Lt. Bill Parker says the driver of the Hyundai, Han Do Park, 24, was over the legal intoxication limit when police tested him.
The pedestrian was in critical condition following the accident, though Parker says specific injuries weren't available. He was taken to IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Park was arrested for C felony operating while under the influence resulting in serious injury.
