(BARGERSVILLE) - A 30-year-old woman is recovering from injuries after she was kidnapped at knifepoint and shoved in the trunk of her car Saturday morning.
A co-worker called police after the woman from Indianapolis did not show up to work. The car eventually ended up in the Bargersville area with the male suspect leaving.
The woman was able to eventually escape from the trunk of the vehicle and drive it to a gas station at the intersection of State Road 37 and State Road 144.
