(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Police officers worked three injury accidents, one on Tuesday and two yesterday.
The accident on Tuesday, left 18-year-old Sarah Morgan, of Mitchell, with contusions and bruises on her head.
According to police, Morgan was driving her 2005 Mazda on Bud Stipp Lane when she lost control of the car, went off the right side of the roadway, then back across the road, over corrected and came back off the right side of the road and slid into two trees.
The first accident on Wednesday happened at 5:38 a.m. on Rivervale Road near Lawrenceport Road.
Police say fog contributed to the cause of the crash.
28-year-old Todd Wray told police the fog was so thick he couldn't see the roadway adn ran his 2003 Ford Focus off the roadway and crashed into a tree.
Wray complained of body pain.
The second accident happened at 5:54 a.m. on U.S. 50 West near Poplar Lane in Mitchell.
According to police 27-year-old Kenneth Cahill was traveling west on U.S. 50 West when another vehicle merged into his lane and he tried to avoid hitting it. When he did, it caused his 1995 Chevrolet S-10 to run off the roadway and hit a reflective post in a yard at 3607 U.S. 50 West and then crashed into a tree.
Cahill complained of leg and knee pain.
