(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department and Crowder’s Pharmacy is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration in Drug Take Back Day Saturday, April 28th between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
According to Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig, the "Take Back" initiative seeks to prevent prescription drug abuse and theft.
The department will accept expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs for disposal.
This service is free and anonymous with no questions asked. The only restriction is that no new or used needles will be accepted.
