(MEDORA) - If you hear a loud boom or two, or maybe six, on Friday, it’s likely just Medora Elementary School students.
Fourth-graders will offer a Civil War Day for students on Friday. Each classroom will complete three different stations throughout the morning and afternoon.
One of the stations will be at the town park, where students will be given a presentation by a small group of Civil War re-enactors. During part of this presentation, the re-enactors will be setting off an authentic Civil War cannon at six different times: 9:20 a.m., 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:20 p.m., 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
For information, call the school at 966-2201.
