(MEDORA) - Red Sky Rescue in Medora will continue to provide services to Jackson County.
The shelter was the subject of complaints by a neighbor, Randy Cummings, at the commissioners' March 20 meeting.
Cummings says he has concerns about dogs getting loose, creating problems for motorists and safety issues to people camping at Black Swan Lake, which is next door. Cummings felt there were also health issues with the shelter. the K-9 animal control committee meet and discussed the issues.
Council President Jerry Hounshel said the committee determined Red Sky Rescue is in compliance with their contract.
