Seifers Resigns As Mitchell High School Athletic Director

(MITCHELL) - Matt Seifers, athletic director and boys varsity basketball coach, has resigned from both positions at Mitchell High School.

Seifer said he enjoyed the community, the school and the people he worked with but he stressed that it was time for him to go.

Seifers, a former Bloomington South assistant boys basketball coach, went 1-20 last year while leading the Bluejackets.

The search for a new basketball coach and athletic director at Mitchell will begin immediately.

Seifers said he has no immediate plans for his future.
