(MITCHELL) - Kicking off the new spring/summer entertainment schedule for the Opera House will be The Tides, a group that performs a mix of music from the 1960s.
The show begins at 8 p.m. Saturday.
The trio blends instruments with vocals to arrangements of well-known songs.
Band members include Michael Beck (drums, percussion and vocals), Dane Dye (bass and vocals) and Seth Jenkins (keyboards, guitar and vocals).

A Tribute to Elvis: May 19, 8 p.m. The "Mayor of Rock 'n' Roll," Bruce Borders (former mayor of Jasonville) returns with his Elvis impersonation that rocked the David Letterman Show. Tickets are available.
The Opera House is at Seventh and Brook streets in Mitchell. Tickets cost $8 for adults and $3 for those age 18 and younger. For information or ticket hold, call 849-2337.
