(UNDATED) - A construction crew working on a road-widening project at Hartsell Drive and Killion Avenue in Seymour apparently cut a fiber optics cable.
That cut knocked out Internet service for thousands of Frontier Communications customers
Matt Kelley of Frontier says the outage extends as far away as Terre Haute, Greencastle, Jasper, Princeton and Salem
Kelley says crews were assessing the problem and hoped to have all service restored by 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Crews cut the line at Burkart Boulevard and Fourth Street around 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.
