(SEYMOUR) - A rural Jackson County woman was injured in a one-vehicle wreck Thursday night, police said.
Jamey McCory of Kurtz was eastbound in the 100 block west of Indiana 258 in a 1995 Mercury minivan when it left the roadway on the north side, rolled several times and struck a utility pole, a Frontier phone box and a fence before coming to a stop, according to a report from the Jackson County Sheriff's Department.
It wasn't known why the van left the road.
McCory was ejected from the vehicle and transported to Schneck Medical Center in Seymour for treatment of injuries by Jackson County EMS. She was later released from the hospital, police said.
Indiana 258 was closed for an hour and a half while emergency workers cleaned up the scene.
County Reserve Deputy Brad Barker and Officer Robert Henley are investigating the wreck.
