(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Police Department is investigation an alleged incident where a teacher pushed a student at Bedford Middle School Wednesday.
However the school says the issue has been resolved.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley says the mother and child came to the police station Wednesday at 4:06 p.m. to report the student was pushed by a teacher during school hours.
"The mother and 14-year-old male student claim the teacher pushed the child in an inappropriate manner," Parsley says. "The incident did happen during school hours and on one was injured."
Parsley says the incident is under investigation.
Bedford Middle School Principal David Schlegel says he meet with the parent, student and the teacher this morning.
"Though the course of that meeting it was determined there was no assault and the issue has been resolved," Schlegel says.
