(DEAM LAKE) - Indiana Conservation Officers recovered the body of 32-year-old Thomas King from Deam Lake Tuesday afternoon.
His body was discovered about 250 yards from the beach in about 26 feet of water. King had been out on a raft outside of the swimming area when he started yelling for help and went under the water.
King was not wearing a lifejacket, and according to acquaintances, is a capable swimmer. No foul play is suspected at this time.
Conservation officers located king's body at the bottom of the lake using sonar equipment and underwater cameras.
