(BROWNSTOWN) - Brownstown Public Library will be offering the following computer classes in May: 11 a.m. to noon May 12: Computer Basics. Learn the proper start¬up and shutdown proce¬dures and to operate a mouse.
1 p.m. to 2 p.m. May 12: E- Readers. This class will cover brand selection, functions and content handling for a variety of e-readers.
11 a.m. to noon May 19: The Internet. Learn how to set up and use an email account and how to find what you want by utilizing a search engine.
1 p.m. to 2 p.m. May 19: Computer Repair and Maintenance. This class will cover
safety and privacy controls, speeding up an older system and hardware service and repair.
11 a.m. to noon May 26: Writing a Resume in Microsoft Word. Learn to use Microsoft Word to write a winning resume.
1 p.m. to 2 p.m. May 26: Databases. This class will cover using Excel and a simple flat file database, Access and SQL server.
