(BLOOMINGTON) - Since the inception of the Indiana State Police in 1933, 46 members of the department have died in the line of duty.
Annual Memorial Service to recognize Indiana State Police personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty will be held Friday at the Indiana State Police, Bloomington Post on Packinghouse Road at 10 a.m.
The service will be outdoors at the front of the post, but in case of inclement weather, the service will be held inside in the training room.
The service will last about 30 minutes. A complete listing of deceased personnel and circumstances of their death may be viewed at: http://www.in.gov/isp/memoriam.
