(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Community Foundation Executive Director Hope Flores is spreading the word that the foundation is continuing its endowment grant match through Thursday.
She wrote in an email, "It's an opportunity to leverage a charitable gift with a 50 percent match to build these endowments that benefit local non-profits."
The funds will be matched on a $1 for every $2 donated basis, up to $3,000 match per eligible fund, until the available $40,000 grant has been expended or until Thursday, whichever comes first.
In order to be considered for the match, one's gift to an eligible fund must be received in the LCCF office at 1324 K Street, Suite 150 (mail to: Post Office Box 1235, Bedford, IN 47421) by 4 p.m. Thursday.
This is a good way to help a fund grow and it certainly could be worth a call to the foundation at 279-2215 to find out more.
