(SEYMOUR) - Police arrested 37-year-old Mark Sandell and 18-year-old Dominick Fore, both of Mora, Minnesota after one of the men allegedly pretended to be a Seymour police officer at a hotel on the city’s east side.
Seymour Police Sgt. Jack Hauer says officers went to the Econo Lodge on a report of a man with a gun and displaying a badge threatening another man.
According to witnesses, Sandell and Fore, who were staying at the hotel, became "upset that the victim was revving up the engine of his car.
Hauer says the men threatened to take the man's car. But the victim refused to let them.
No one was injured during the altercation.
Sandell was booked into the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown at 1:07 a.m. Wednesday on charges of intimidation with a deadly weapon and impersonation of a public servant. Fore was charged of intimidation.
