(WASHINGTON) - A Washington man was arrested after he allegedly stole dog food from Wal-Mart Wednesday afternoon and then attempted to return the dog food for cash.
Loss prevention personal notified police after 35-year-old Richard Bums left the store without paying for the dog food.
Employees told police Bums was still in the parking lot, but before they arrived Bums alleged went back into the store and tried to return the dog food for cash.
Bum's girlfriend Kasey Hambrick, was also in the store and she too was arrested on two outstanding Daviess County warrants.
